Good dental health early in life sets the foundation for lifelong wellness — and the Fantastic Teeth Fan Club, a charitable program created by Texas Freemasons, is designed to make that start a little easier for children and their families. The initiative focuses on preventing childhood tooth decay, one of the most common yet most preventable health conditions among young kids.

What the Program Does

The Fantastic Teeth Fan Club partners with local Masonic lodges to assemble and distribute free dental health kits to first-grade students across Texas. These kits typically include:

• A child-sized toothbrush

• Toothpaste

• Dental floss

• A timer to encourage brushing for the recommended two minutes

• Educational materials for both kids and parents

The goal is simple: give young children the tools and knowledge they need to practice healthy habits at the age when it matters most.

Why It Matters

Tooth decay can impact a child’s ability to eat, sleep, speak clearly, and succeed in school. Many families lack access to consistent dental care, making early prevention critically important.
